Vision: Believing that prayer is the foundational strategy for churches as they engage people in the Kingdom of God, Kim’s vision is to see every church, individual and family become a house of prayer for all nations (Isaiah 56:7, Mark 11:17).

Education

  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (w/teaching credentials) – Whitman College (1976)
  • Master of Arts – Spiritual Formation and Leadership – Spring Arbor University (2010) 

Organizations:

Kim serves on several prayer-related boards and organizations including:

  • Vice-President, Gospel Revivals, Inc. (Herald of His Coming)
  • Member, America’s National Prayer Committee 
  • Board of Advisors, America Prays

Ministry:

  • Teaching/Consulting: Kim’s favorite ministry activity is working with prayer ministry teams, church leaders, youth and children’s ministry workers, families, etc. She really enjoys helping churches to develop creativity in prayer through multiple formats, including 24-7 prayer.
  • Resource Development: Kim compiles and edits Connection! Prayer as Everyday Life – daily email devotions, and Prayer Tip Tuesday, a weekly email to encourage and strengthen churches and individuals in prayer. She develops curriculum for PrayerU, and blogs regularly on the Harvest Prayer Ministries website.
